The benefits of essential oils

Aromatherapy uses essential oils to treat various ailments such as colds, headaches or body aches. But besides this, the essential oils are true allies in your daily life.


Essential oils are activators of wellbeing: their scents bring balm to the heart!


The essences of essential oils have to be chosen carefully, focus on certified organic brands (eg AB label) to be sure of the quality. It takes several tons of plants to get a kilo of oil!


Each essential oil has its own composition and its own virtues. Their usage should however be done with caution. Each of them indicates whether its use is external and / or internal and it is important to follow recommended doses.


For relaxation your main allies would be sweet orange, lavender or bergamot (especially in summer, but for the winter chose eucalyptus).


Many specialty shops offer broadcasters for those who wish to disseminate essential oils in their homes. Nevertheless, be careful to monitor the diffusion time to avoid saturating the air in your home and in fact blur the benefits of aromatic oils.


Finally, if you want to use them on the skin, know that essential oils are only applicable when mixed with a vegetable oil (sweet almond, jojoba, macadamia, argan …). Again, observe the doses indicated on the bottles because essential oils are highly concentrated.
